Jaime Gilmore
March 2026

Hello, my name is Jaime Gilmore. In 2025, I had the incredible honor of running the New York City Marathon for the EJ Autism Foundation, where I became the top fundraiser among all participants supporting autism acceptance, research, and families in need. I'm deeply grateful to the many generous donors who believed in this mission and helped me exceed my fundraising goal.

My motivation is deeply personal. My nephew, Adam, was diagnosed with autism at a young age, and he inspires me every day with his kind heart, curiosity, and joyful spirit. I'm also constantly inspired by my sister, who advocates tirelessly to ensure he has every opportunity to thrive.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a graduate instructor at Kean University in the MFT program, and the President of a New Jersey non-profit (NJAMFT) dedicated to advancing the field of marriage and family therapy. I’m also a proud mom to my almost 14-year-old son and believe strongly in leading by example through compassion, perseverance, and service.

Running the marathon was about so much more than the miles. Every step I took was for Adam and for families who deserve support, understanding, and a community that celebrates their children.

With gratitude,
Jaime
